INSPIRING ETHICAL GASTRONOMY

EMPOWERING EDUCATION.

Ethical bites

What’s behind a food-related social media post?

How can we spot misleading information?

And how aware are we of what we share and the choices we make online?

These are just some of the questions at the heart of Ethical Bites, developed as part of the Erasmus+ project ETI_CHEF – Respect in Every Bite.

Designed for students and educators in the culinary sector, Ethical Bites encourages critical thinking and a more conscious, ethical and responsible approach to creating, sharing and engaging with food-related content online.

Ethical Bites is organised into two main sections: one dedicated to educational resources designed for flexible use in different learning and training contexts, and the other bringing together research findings, reflections and visual content to encourage a closer look at how social media shapes our perceptions, influences our food choices and affects the way we interact with online content.
