The consortium

The ETI_CHEF partnership brings together four complementary organisations from Italy, Spain, France, and Slovenia, all active in VET education and the culinary sector. It combines expertise in digital innovation, vocational training, and craftsmanship, ensuring a strong link between education and industry.

Built on previous Erasmus+ collaborations, the consortium leverages its diverse skills and transnational perspective to develop innovative, inclusive, and high-quality resources addressing ethics, netiquette, and digital challenges in gastronomy.

BIC LJUBLJANA

Biotechnical Educational Centre Ljubljana (BIC Ljubljana) is a leading public vocational institution in Slovenia with over 160 years of experience. It comprises four units: the General Upper Secondary School and Veterinary Technician School, the School of Food Processing and Nature Protection, the Vocational College, and the Intercompany Training Centre. BIC Ljubljana offers education in fields such as veterinary care, food processing, hospitality, and tourism, with a strong emphasis on hands-on training in well-equipped environments under the guidance of experienced mentors. The centre is also highly active in international projects, holds Erasmus+ accreditation, and has received awards for innovation and excellence in vocational education.

CMA PAYS DE LA LOIRE

The Chambre de Métiers et de l’Artisanat (CMA) Pays de la Loire is part of CMA France, a public body under the French Ministry of Economy that has represented the craft sector for over 100 years. It supports artisans through training, business development, and advocacy at both national and European levels. The CMA network fosters craft skills through initial and continuous training via its VET centre “CMA Formation,” while accompanying artisans and craft businesses at every stage, from creation to transfer. It promotes growth, competitiveness, and sustainability, strengthens the sector’s recognition through partnerships, and advocates for artisans in public policies, contributing to a more sustainable, human-centered economy.

LULA CONSULTING

Lula Consulting is a team of professionals specialized in Erasmus+ Key Action 1 and 2 projects, focusing on mobility, cooperation, and innovation. Active since 2013, the team combines expertise in project management, communication, and digital development. Lula supports international partnerships, produces research and digital tools, and manages high-quality mobility and cooperation projects across Europe. It has also developed TEREO, a platform that simplifies Erasmus+ project management and enhances collaboration among partners. Lula Consulting supports schools and VET institutions in organizing Erasmus+ KA1 mobility opportunities for learners and staff, including traineeships, job shadowing, and professional development. It provides tailored support, tutoring, and digital tools to ensure inclusive and accessible mobility experiences, especially for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

MEDITERRANEO CULINARY CENTER

Mediterráneo Culinary Center by Camera Valencia is a VET school based in Valencia with over 20 years of experience, specializing in Cooking, Gastronomy, Dietetics, and Nutrition. Officially recognized by the Valencian Ministry of Education, MCC offers accredited programmes from EQF levels 3 to 7, including vocational training, master’s, and postgraduate courses.
Sustainability is a key focus, with concrete actions in energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste management. The centre has around 200 students – typically between 16 and 30 years old, with 20–30% coming from migrant backgrounds – and 20 staff members. As an Erasmus+ host institution, MCC also welcomes over 500 students from across Europe each year.
